Being on the Devon/Cornwall border, between the coastal town of Bude and the market town of Holsworthy, we are in the ideal position for exploring the delights, which our unspoilt area of both counties have to offer. There are 2 acres of meadowland bordered by the river Tamar that offers course fishing (FREE to our visitors). The wide sandy beaches of Bude are only five miles away. OPEN ALL YEAR Budemeadows is a family campsite which caters for tents, motorhomes and caravans. The camp site is situated conveniently off the A39 'Atlantic Highway' which provides good access to the rest of Cornwall and the delights of North Devon. Facilities on site include a heated pool, which is open from the late May Bank Holiday through to mid September, childrens play areas, an indoor games room and Grumpy Pete's Bar. The bar is family orientated with a range of board games available and has 2 internet terminals which can be used to catch up on your friends on facebook for a small charge. The site is also WiFi enabled so if you bring your laptop you'll be able to download those important e-mails. We have a small, but well stocked, shop on site, open in Mid and High season, which provides basic groceries, camping equipment, toys wine, and beer. The toilets, showers and bath room are kept clean at all times and hot water is free and plentiful.
